James F. Robinson is President of Metals Engineering, Inc. and managing partner in the firm Patriot Partners, Inc. He previously served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Tufco Technologies, Inc., a $100MM contract manufacturer having operations in WI and NC.
Jim also spent several years as a business consultant, working with company executives to improve financial performance and build a foundation of operational excellence in the manufacturing sector, and has held multiple commercial leadership roles in several multi-national companies. Jim was also a founding member of Hygenitec, LLC., a Wisconsin-based wet wipes manufacturer, sold to Nice-Pak in 2005.
He also served as a director on the board of Independent Printing Company, Inc., the Chairman of the Board for the Transformation House, and is a member of the advisory boards of the Brian La Violette Scholarship Foundation and Bradford Equities Management. He received a BA in Business Administration/Economics from Lakeland College, attended graduate school in Mexico, and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. Jim ("JR") enjoys playing guitar, writing music, riding his motorcycle (WI weather permitting), and staying fit.
