Some Sports Hints
Sports Hints In the arena of life these words written by Brian when he was just 13 years old can help guide us on the playing field or the field of life.
  1. Never; ever say you're sorry when you miss a ball, shank it, etc. I know you didn't do it on purpose so don't ever say you are sorry...Got it!?!?

  2. Don't be a ball hog. It annoys your teammates and cuts down your overall performance.

  3. Don't be cocky. I could type pages upon pages on this rule, but you know what it means.

  4. Be nice. You can gain a lot more respect this way. By being nice I don't mean not hitting somebody in football. Just a good sport when you lose, win or tie.

  5. Trust people when you have doubts. Who knows? Maybe they'll surprise you.

  6. Above all, maintain a good attitude. Whatever you do, wherever you go, try your hardest at everything you do. It can take you places you never dreamed of.

  7. Enough talk...Go out and have some fun!!!

This 13" x 10" sports hints plaque is available through the scholarship. It comes framed, with a gift box for $39.95.
