Robert C. Safford Scholarship

This scholarship at Oconto High School was first presented in 2009 and is awarded to a young man entering into business and/or banking related fields.

Bob was born in Oconto, Wisconsin attended high school in Indianapolis where his parents moved when he was a child, played football on a full scholarship at Georgia Tech in Atlanta and returned to Wisconsin whre he excelled in business, banking and real estate development.  Bob was president of First National Financial Corporation that owned banks in Octonto, Lena, Suring, Townsend and Marinette, Wisconsin.  Made possible by Victoria (Safford) Parmentier.
