Brent Vroman Scholarship of Honor

Brent Vroman, 21, Omro, WI
At Omro High School Brent stood out as a star wrestler. But there was more to Brent than that. Even after graduating in 2001 students and teachers would remember him as someone with a big heart and even a bigger smile. He maintained that outlook on life when he joined the Marines in March of 2003. Brent was a Private First Class with the Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 24th Marines and posthumously promoted to LCpl. His family says Brent was proud to be a Marine and proud to be an American serving his country.

Haley Garvens received the 2014 Brent Vroman Scholarship of Honor and studying at UW-Milwaukee and participating in the NROTC at Marquette University.

Danielle Beck recieved this years' Brent Vroman Scholarship. She pursued a degree in Criminal Justice. Daneille is picture here with Brent's mom, Pam and husband Bill.

2011
Tera Roycroft was the 2011 recipient of the Brent Vroman Scholarship of Honor. She attended the University of Minnesota and plans to enter into the Medical field.

Breanna Butt pursued her dream of becoming a physician.

Amanda Nelson enlisted in the United States Marine Corps
2008
Kimberly Sitter received the 2008 Brent Vroman Scholarship of Honor. Kimberly is studied-Med and Nursing.
2007
Maggie DeGroot went onto study Secondary Education. This award means a lot to Maggie, because she was Brent's Step-Sister.
2006
Gregory Sitter received the 2006 Brent Vroman Scholarship of Honor. Gregory majored in Political Science.
2005
Alisa Watts received the 1st Brent Vroman Scholarship of Honor. Alisa joined the Army National Guard.
