We've Got Mail...
Brian's story continues to touch lives, and we continue to hear from people across the country.

- Packer hat
The journey hat continues to be the best seller at the Packer Hall of Fame.
- David Cousins of North Bend, Washington, called to tell us catastrophe had struck. His dog had eaten his "Journey is the Reward" hat. The life-long Packer fan bought the hat on a trip to Green Bay. He says it's the best Packer hat he's ever seen, and wanted to know if he could get another. Cousins ordered two...just in case.

- We also sent a hat to James and Susan Moons of Monroe Center, Illinois. Apparently it was the perfect gift for their son. His name? "Journey."

- E-Mail from LeeAnn Moegenburg of West Bend, Wisconsin..."I saw a piece on Brian on his Journey continued by family members on my local news station last evening. I was moved to tears at the profound wisdom a 15-year-old boy could have. He must have been one amazing kid. I have a 16-year-old who is also into writing. Sometimes it's just thoughts, and sometimes it's poetry and she has actually started a book she hopes to get published someday. I applaud the efforts of the family to continue Brian's legacy. We as a country need constant reminders that the world isní't all bad and that most kids really are good kids!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you continue the journey for Brian."

- E-Mail from Jeanne M. Adair of Milwaukee, Wisconsin..."Hello to the LaViolettes. I hope you remember me. I along with my sisters baby-sat Brian and (his sister) Kimberly. Tonight I saw your inspirational story on TV-6 news here in Milwaukee and it once again touched my heart much like Brian did. As a teacher I feel blessed to have known your family and hope your endeavors on Brian's behalf will continue to prosper and help educate further many young minds. Best of luck!"

- E-Mail from Julia of De Pere... "Your loss was indescribable, but you have made sure that Brian is not forgotten. I have never failed to think of him when I see one of the posters or hear the word "journey." Thank you for sharing him with the rest of us who didn't get the chance to meet him.

I had a good friend that was killed in an accident 20 years ago at age 19; I wish we had done this for him."

- And this touching story from a family in Pewaukee, Wisconsin..."My wife has survived two bouts of Melanoma cancer and then last year she got sick with Leukemia and again is surviving and in full remission. We have read a lot about Brian's journey and it has helped us get through some of these hard times. Life is a journey, one step at a time, one day at a time. Thanks for sharing Brian's Journey with the rest of us."

We'd enjoy hearing your feedback and encourage you to share Brian's Story and this newsletter with others in your life.
