David Konrath

David is director of security at Nicolet National Bank.  He is the former Director of the Investigations Division, responsible for oversight in all criminal investigations of the Brown County Sheriff’s Department. He initially began his law enforcement career in the United States Air Force as a law enforcement specialist before joining the Sheriff’s Department in 1985.

One of David’s proudest accomplishments was spearheading the building of the Brown County Jail in 2000, which brought inmate management into the 21st century. As a result of his efforts he was awarded Jail Administrator of the Year by the American Jail Association (AJA).

Along with a long list of accomplishments, he is also a recent graduate of the 232nd class of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Academy. He is currently getting his Masters in Public Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

David has two daughters Krista, a teacher in Florida who just gave birth to a daughter, making Dave a new Grandfather; Jordan who lives in Washington D.C. and works for the United Nations; and Joseph who is the Director of the Double Tree in Madison.
